Margaret M. “Maggie” McCarthy has been involved in art and painting since 1982 and received her BFA in painting from the University of Oklahoma in 1995.  In addition to her shows and competitions she is also a sought after workshop instructor. She works in lots of mediums and content but her favorite is watercolor.  Lately, the landscape - either real or imagined – has been her inspiration. “I love the immediacy and real conversation you get with the medium. Sometimes you control it and sometimes it controls you, just like life.  It is a challenging adventure and I love it.”  All work is "price available upon request."
