MEMBERSHIP INFO

The Greater St Louis Art Association is an active group of artists and art enthusiasts with a mission to promote the visual arts and art education in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. We hope to enrich the artistic ability and community feeling of our members. Our membership is open to anyone (over age eighteen) with an interest in the visual arts. Membership dues are currently $30 per year. (Full-time art students with school I.D. pay one-half this rate.) Members are encouraged to volunteer time for GSLAA activities, committees, and to work during the art festivals. Volunteering during the year provides advantage points for entry to our juried art shows.

Become a GSLAA Member, or renew your membership, simply by filling out the form below on the right and clicking on the "Buy Now" button below.  It is only $30. Don't worry if you don't have a Paypal account. Once you click on Buy Now you can select to pay with a debit or credit card from the Paypal page.

Juried Artist Membership

After arranging with the Jury Committee, one may be formally juried in to an exhibiting category: Clay, Digital, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Oil or Acrylic Painting, Print, Sculpture, Water Media, Wood. The jury or application fee for our juried art shows is waived for Juried Artist Members.

Juried Fine Art Show
The GSLAA presents two nationally juried art shows each year, spring and early fall editions of our Art Fair at Queeny Park! Members volunteer their time to plan and operate these shows, the proceeds of which help to fund art education.

Member Exhibits
During the year several membership exhibits are held in a number of different venues to give Exhibiting Artist members an opportunity to show their newest works.

Scholarships
Each spring, the GSLAA gives multiple one-time scholarships to art majors enrolled at university and colleges to help with furthering their education in Art. Awards are 100% funded by proceeds from our art shows.

Workshops  & Special Activities
THE GSLAA offers workshops designed to help artists grow their artistic and business skills.  We also are developing special activities such as the "Crystal Bridges Art Tour" so like-minded artists can share their knowledge, discuss mutual interests and develop new friendships.

GSLAA Newsletter
Members receive an interesting and informative newsletter either in email or print format (if email not available).

The GSLAA is a fully non-profit organization supported by membership dues and the proceeds from two nationally recognized juried art shows which we present each year at Queeny Park in St Louis County.
