Sounds of Silence
I choose Watercolor! The beauty and the challenge of this difficult medium is what keeps me going back. Watercolor is supposed to look like it just happens, unforced and fluid, but it does not. Successful watercolor takes a clear vision with a well thought out composition, a confident hand and, of course, flexibility, always open to what the watercolor has to say.  All the famous techniques in the world do not make a good painting.  The unique vision of the artist, confident in what he/she wants to say, makes a successful piece.  Like all artists, I want my viewer to first see and feel my ideas, not my techniques. Archival paper and pigments with museum quality mats and backing ensure that my pieces are permanent and meant to be enjoyed by generations.
