Visitors are always welcome to meetings which are generally held on fourth Thursdays of the month at:

Concordia Lutheran Church
505 South Kirkwood Road
Kirkwood Missouri 63122

Located on the southwest corner of Kirkwood Road and Woodbine, directly across Kirkwood Road from The Magic House. However, what you see at that intersection is the old part of the building; with no access. The main parking lot and entrance is located behind the building opposite of Kirkwood Rd. Special spaces are available for visitors and handicap parking near the Main Entrance. There is an additional handicap parking lot on the Kirkwood road side of the building

Meetings start at 6:30 with a social period, followed by an interesting art program or demonstration and then a short business meeting. We also have special social get-togethers at intervals. Social get-togethers replace meetings, usually in July and December. Call to verify meeting dates.

THE QUEENY ART FAIRS

The GSLA presents two nationally juried art shows each year, spring and early fall editions of our Art Fair at Queeny Park. Members volunteer their time to plan and operate these shows, the proceeds of which help to fund art education.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Each spring, the GSLA gives four one-time merit awards to high school seniors from the greater St Louis area to help with further education in Art. Awards are funded by proceeds from our art shows.

WORKSHOPS

THE GSLA offers workshops designed to help artists grow their artistic and business skills. We also are developing special activities such as the Crystal Bridges Art Tour so like-minded artists can share their knowledge, discuss mutual interests and develop new friendships.
