The Greater St Louis Art Association is an active group of artists and art enthusiasts with a mission to promote the visual arts and art education in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. We hope to enrich the artistic ability and community feeling of our members.
The GSLAA is a fully non-profit organization supported by membership dues and the proceeds from two nationally recognized juried art shows which we present each year at Queeny Park in St Louis County.

Visitors are always welcome to meetings which are generally held on fourth Thursdays of the month at:
Concordia Lutheran Church
505 South Kirkwood Road
Kirkwood, MO 63122
It's on the southwest corner of Kirkwood Road and Woodbine, directly across Kirkwood Road from The Magic House. However, what you see at that intersection is the old part of the building with no access. The main parking lot and entrance is located behind the building opposite of Kirkwood Rd. Special spaces are available for visitors and handicap parking near the Main Entrance. There is an additional handicap parking lot on the Kirkwood road side of the building.
Meetings start at 6:30 with a social period, followed by an interesting art program or demonstration and then a shorta business meeting. We also have special social get-togethers at intervals. Social get-togethers replace meetings, usually in July and December. Call to verify meeting dates.
JURIED FINE ART SHOWS
The GSLAA presents two nationally juried art shows each year, spring and early fall editions of our Art Fair at Queeny Park! Members volunteer their time to plan and operate these shows, the proceeds of which help to fund art education.
During the year several membership exhibits are held in a number of different venues to give Exhibiting Artist members an opportunity to show their newest works.
Each spring, the GSLAA gives four one-time merit awards to high school seniors from the greater St Louis area to help with further education in Art. Awards are funded by proceeds from our art shows.
WORKSHOPS & SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
THE GSLAA offers workshops designed to help artistsgrow their artistic and business skills. We also are developing special activities such as the "Crystal Bridges Art Tour" so like-minded artists can share their knowledge, discuss mutal interests and develop new friendships.
Our membership is open to any one (over age eighteen) with an interest in the visual arts. Membership dues are currently $30 per year. (Full-time art students with school I.D. pay one-half this rate.)
Members are encouraged to volunteer time for GSLAA activities, committees, and to work during the art festivals. Volunteering during the year provides advantage points for entry to our juried art shows.
