MEETINGS
Visitors are always welcome to meetings which are generally held on fourth Thursdays, at the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves, at the corner of Elm and Lockwood. Meeting time is from 7 to 9 p.m. During this time, we have a social period, a business meeting and an interesting art program or demonstration.

We have special social get-togethers at intervals. Social get-togethers replace meetings, usually in July and December. Call to verify meeting dates.

JURIED FINE ART SHOWS
The GSLAA presents two nationally juried art shows each year, spring and early fall editions of our Art Fair at Queeny Park! Members volunteer their time to plan and operate these shows, the proceeds of which help to fund art education.

MEMBER EXHIBITS
During the year several membership exhibits are held in a number of different venues to give Exhibiting Artist members an opportunity to show their newest works.

SCHOLARSHIPS
Each spring, the GSLAA gives one-time merit awards to high school seniors from the greater St Louis area to help with further education in Art. Awards are funded by proceeds from our Festivals.

GSLAA MEMBERSHIP
Our membership is open to any one (over age eighteen) with an interest in the visual arts. Membership dues are currently $30 per year. (Full-time art students with school I.D. pay one-half this rate.)
Members are encouraged to volunteer time for GSLAA activities, committees, and to work during the art festivals. Volunteering during the year provides advantage points for entry to our juried art shows.

EXHIBITING ARTIST MEMBERSHIP
Members in good standing may take part in a jury process to become Exhibiting Artist Members. After arranging with the vice president of the group, one may be formally juried in to an exhibiting category: Clay, Digital, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Oil or Acrylic Painting, Print, Sculpture, Water Media, Wood.
The jury or application fee for our juried art shows is waived for Exhibiting Artist Members.
