GSLAA Membership Exhibits
The Greater St. Louis Art Association
arranges a number of exhibits each year for Exhibiting Members to show and
sell their work. Recently we have exhibited in spaces such as Plaza
Frontenac, Creative Gallery (on Ivanhoe in St. Louis), St. Peters Cultural
Arts Center (on Mexico Road in St. Peters) and many others.

EXHIBITING
MEMBERSHIP: GSLAA Members
in Good Standing (dues paid, and have attended at least 3 meetings in
the last 12 months) who have become Exhibiting Members of GSLAA are
welcome to participate in the Membership Exhibits. No additional jury fee or membership dues are required to become juried. Please note that not all exhibits are able to
accommodate 3D media. We do make every effort to ensure that 3D artists
are able to exhibit in at least one venue every year.
How does a
member become an Exhibiting Member? We
have several scheduled jury sessions each year at which members may have
their work considered for Exhibiting Membership. You may jury in multiple media. You will need to sign up for the scheduled jury session ahead
of time with the Vice President/Membership Chairman. You will then
provide a brief resume' or statement, and four images (slides or digital) of your work for
preliminary review. For the actual jury session, you will bring 6
pieces of your work, suitable presented. These will be reviewed
anonymously by the jury committee. You will be notified by mail whether
you have been accepted as an Exhibiting Member in the media category you
submitted.
You must still submit slides and go through the jury process to be accepted.
The Greater St. Louis Art Association is
a non-profit volunteer organization that provides an opportunity for
artists to meet, grow together and exhibit their work. We support art in
the community by awarding annual art scholarships and grants, and by
presenting two national juried art shows each year.
